​The history of our band

To think, there was a time when The Eerie Green did not exist! A time where wolves roamed the great plains of Canmore, and primitive man hunted the great buffalo (also known as the 1990's). A period of creation began, that would change the course of musical history forever. Layten Kramer, Logan Thackray, and Eli Panning-Osendarp were graciously sprouted from the womb, into a world of cyber tech, bad fashion, and video games.

At the age of 13, Layten began his self taught studies on an intrument called the guitar. Within the year, he was playing shows, songwriting, and pleasing people with his pre-teen looks. In late October of 2010, Eli, a fresh, saucy, teenager, began his role as master percussionist with Layten. Throughout the year, Layten, and Eli worked hard together (sometimes holding hands or whatever) to release their first album "Lost In the Woods" as "Layten Kramer" on June 17th, 2011.

Featuring Logan (extreme ukulele player/model) at their release party, Layten and Eli decided she would be the perfect addition to what we now know as The Eerie Green. In the summer of 2011, the group set off on a seven day excursion to work with a Producer/Engineer; "Nathan Turner", at "Fader Master Studios" in Vancouver. Through that trip, the band is proud to bring you their self titled EP, "The Eerie Green" released on June 15, 2012.
